Finding content

How can I find a specific evaluation method?

All the evaluation methods currently on the BetterEvaluation website are in the Evaluation Methods section. Use the search or browse the list. If what you're looking for is not there, let us know.  You can also use the Rainbow Framework to explore other evaluation methods you might not have considered to complete your task.

My search returns no results or too many. How do I improve search results?

If there are no search results, ensure spelling is correct and try using fewer keywords. If there are too many search results, try adding another keyword to the search query.

Getting help with an evaluation

Where can I ask for help regarding an evaluation question, issue or challenge?

Try a site search using the keywords related to your question.

Where can I find information about planning a whole evaluation?

Depending on your needs, the Manger's Guide to Evaluation and Rainbow Framework are good places to help you plan your evaluation. We also have guidance on choosing appropriate methods for an evaluation. It is a good idea to explore evaluation themes and approaches, and consider how they could inform your evaluation.

What kinds of content can I contribute?

Share content with us in the contribute content section.

Can I contribute content that I didn't create?

Yes! Just let us know the source of the content so we can check that we have permission to share it.

What happens after I contribute content?

The BetterEvaluation team will review the content, get in touch with you if we need more information, and add reviewed content to the BetterEvaluation website.
