This program promotes the development of the knowledge and skills necessary to carry out empirical research of a qualitative and quantitative nature in various areas of education such as the learning process, teaching methodology, curriculum, evaluation of programs and learning, statistical procedures and the development of instruments for data collection.

INEVA draws on local and international students, who come from various academic and professional backgrounds. Students have the opportunity to collaborate on research, evaluations, and publications conducted by the program's faculty. In addition, they can carry out supervised research and evaluation practices in different settings, such as the Educational Research Center of the Faculty of Education, theCollege Board , the Office of Teaching Practice, and community nonprofit organizations, among others.
