Save the date for the 5th APEA Conference in Tokyo, Japan: 11-14 November 2025
The Asia Pacific faces challenges including income inequality, poverty, conflict, climate change, and food insecurity, requiring robust monitoring, evaluation, and learning (MEL) systems and capacity building to drive sustainable development and achieve the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Strengthening national M&E systems and fostering partnerships enhances transparency, evidence-based decision-making, and adaptive strategies. In response, the Asia Pacific Regional Evaluation Strategy (APRES), developed in 2020 by APEA and key partners, promotes evaluation for national and regional progress. The 5th APEA Conference will explore forces shaping evaluation institutionalisation globally, align with the Japan Evaluation Society’s goals, and contribute to EvalVisionAsia 2025, empowering organisations with the skills and frameworks needed for sustainable impact.
