Within the field of health systems, there is an urgent need to discuss how evaluation can better support the Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) agenda for health, particularly among global health institutions.
Evaluation involves systematically collecting, analyzing, and interpreting data to determine whether global health programs are achieving their goals and how they can be improved. However, only transformative “triple loop” learning will make it work. And that requires a revolutionary shift in the way we do evaluation.
