The Uganda Evaluation Week (UEW) 2026 arrives at a defining moment as Uganda launches its Fourth National Development Plan (NDP IV) and the Uganda Evaluation Association celebrates 25 years of advancing evaluation practice in the country.

The event will take place from May 4 to 8 in Kampala, under the theme “Innovate. Include. Impact: Advancing Evidence for Transformative and Sustainable Development."

The programme will explore the role of artificial intelligence (AI) and big data in evaluation, evidence for NDP IV, equity and inclusion in monitoring and evaluation (M&E), MERL capacity strengthening, and governance and accountability.

In addition to high-level discussions, the event will also feature two days of practical workshops, evaluation awards, and a special excursion to the Source of the Nile.

Whether you're an experienced evaluator, government official, researcher, academic, or a young and emerging evaluator (YEE), this is a valuable platform to connect, exchange knowledge, and contribute to evidence-based development in Uganda and beyond.

Early bird registration closes on April 15, 2026. Register now to secure your place.
