GRM International is delighted to invite you to join us for a 3 day training workshop from 9 to 11 June 2015 on Evaluation Of Humanitarian Action, facilitated by facilitated by highly experienced evaluators and trainers, Margie Buchanan Smith and John Cosgrave, who co-authored the Active Learning Network for Accountability and Performance in Humanitarian Action guide. The training workshop will be held at Hotel Chateau de Coudree, Sciez-sur-Leman, France, only 30km from Geneva.
The aim of the course is to make evaluations more effective in contributing to the improved performance of humanitarian interventions and to enhance the quality of the evaluation process. This course is recommended for evaluators, managers and users of evaluations and previous evaluation experience is not necessary, but some knowledge and experience of humanitarian action is advisable.
The workshop will provide greater clarity of the purpose and objectives of evaluating humanitarian activities, and the key challenges. It will provide a better understanding of evaluation criteria and of the most relevant frameworks against which humanitarian assistance should be evaluated, with a practical approach to planning, designing, implementing and following through on evaluations of humanitarian assistance.
