Bernardo Monzani has over 10 years of experience working in the international development sector, where he specializes on issues of governance, conflict resolution and peacebuilding (including conflict sensitivity). Bernardo worked for international NGOs at headquarters and in field offices, as well as UN peacekeeping missions in Liberia and Haiti. His areas of expertise include qualitative and quantitative research, monitoring and evaluation (M&E), and programme design and development. Bernardo’s record includes research reports, baseline studies, assessments, evaluations and other publications related to various sectors (mainly governance and peacebuilding, but also media, education and health) and regions (North and Sub-Saharan Africa, Central and South Asia, the Caribbean and the Caucasus). Fluent in both English and French, Bernardo holds an MA from the Johns Hopkins School for Advanced International Studies (SAIS) in Washington DC (USA) and a BA from Tufts University in Boston (USA).
