This program is designed to produce highly qualified health care researchers who incorporate skills from and collaborate among a wide-range of disciplines. Equipped with the skills to analyze and interpret complex health problems and data, graduates are prepared to conduct relevant research on issues critically important to public health. The curriculum combines a strong conceptual framework that fosters a thorough understanding of health and contemporary technical issues in healthcare delivery/population health with a rigorous methodological core providing practical experience to improve health systems’ performance and population health.

This program is unique in that it develops depth and breadth of knowledge in the determinants of health, healthcare systems, research and evaluation design, epidemiology, quantitative and qualitative methods, and emphasizes transdisciplinary research. The program is designed for individuals from a wide range of backgrounds and career interests.

The mission of the programs is to guide students in becoming socially just leaders and change agents in a variety of educational contexts. This program addresses current adult education issues and provides solutions that can be immediately applied in the workplace. Our curriculum is guided by the Academy of Human Resource Development standards to provide you the skills and knowledge for designing, administering and assessing training programs in a variety of instructional formats. The program focuses on developing equitable learning environments. Rather than having a single course focused on social issues, equity is embedded throughout all of the course work offered in this program.

The proram is grounded in Oregon State University’s commitment to developing tomorrow’s leaders guided by the principle that equity-centered leadership can be learned and enhanced. The Ed.D. degree has a newly updated curriculum designed for students interested in advancing in leadership positions in higher education. The Ed.D. program's purpose is to educate students wanting to apply research to practice and develop practitioner knowledge.

The goal of the program is to equip professionals with the knowledge and skills to evaluate the impact of their programs and projects on society and the economy, and to determine if they are achieving their intended objectives. The program is designed for individuals from the public, private, and the third sectors who are involved in the implementation, financing, and management of programs and projects, and who are interested in evaluating the effectiveness of their investments.

The objective of this program is to equip participants with the techniques and tools needed to enhance their productivity and ability to identify, formulate, evaluate, and manage successful development projects in Nicaragua, in order to ensure the achievement of their organizational goals.

This program seeks to promote the increasing use of evaluation and drive its further development. The principle of evaluation has been codified in several legislative texts as a means of managing public actions (such as vocational training, urban development, technology and innovation support policies, etc.) and ensuring compliance with non-discrimination obligations. It provides students with a comprehensive education in the methods, techniques, and tools of the evaluation approach. Upon completion, students will be equipped to assess the impact, effectiveness, efficiency, coherence, and relevance of both public and private organizations' projects and action programs. Additionally, the course trains project managers to utilize evaluation tools in the planning and management of both public and private programs and projects.
