This workshop is designed to equip participants with the essential knowledge and practical skills to use Artifical Intelligence (AI) tools such as ChatGPT, Claude.ai and Perplexity.ai for evaluation and research purposes. More specifcially, to use AI tools for the analysis of qualitative data from documents, interviews, observations and focus groups.

Evaluation managers and evaluators will share good practices and lessons in integrating gender equality and women’s empowerment considerations into evaluations across a range of different programmes, policies and operations which run the gamut from gender blind to gender transformative. Building on previous years’ EvalXchange the discussion will also address recurring challenges, devising effective strategies to address them, as well as recognizing and managing trade-offs within the constraints of limited resources
