Evaluator competencies generally refer to the skills, abilities, knowledge, experience, and/or qualifications that an evaluator is expected to have depending on their role in the evaluation process.
There is a link between competencies and evaluation standards and ethics with all three working together to inform the evaluation process.
In addition, evaluation managers and evaluation commissioners also need particular competencies.
