The Illuminate Learning Center offers in-person, virtual, and hybrid courses on topics such as evaluation, organizational learning, facilitation, adaptive management, applications of AI, and more. ‘Learning by doing’ is one of the principles of Outcome Harvesting (OH) and as such it underpins the highly participatory approach taken by the trainers during this programme.

This training offers six online sessions of 1-3 hours. In addition, participants will have to complete self-guided study between sessions.

Participants are required to join all live sessions, which will take place on May 7, 11, 13, 18, 19, and 20 at 10:00 CET.

How do we make sure evaluation leads to real-world change? That’s the central question of the 2026 UK Evaluation Society conference: Bridging the gap: evaluation to action.

Across three themes, we’ll explore how evaluation can shape decisions, build cultures of learning, and communicate findings in ways that inspire action.

Results-Based Management is a shift from a focus on inputs and activities to outputs, outcomes, and impact. Results are changes that can be described and measured and are the consequence of a cause-and-effect relationship. They imply that changes in behavior have occurred among individuals, groups, organizations, government bodies, or society.

Leadership is needed at every level — you don't have to be a manager to be a leader.  People at any level of an organization can be effective leaders with the right skills and techniques. Successful leaders behave differently; they exhibit specific behavioral styles.

The Youth in Evaluation Forum 2026 is a three-day digital convening at global and regional levels that will amplify young voices and influence how evaluation responds to today’s evolving world. Join young and experienced evaluators from across the globe to celebrate innovation and build a future-fit evaluation community through inclusive, intergenerational dialogue. The event will take place online from May 19 to May 21.

From June 1 to 5, Glocal Evaluation Week 2026 will feature more than 300 online, in-person, and hybrid events exploring key topics in monitoring and evaluation (M&E). Participants are welcome to join as many events as they want. This year's Glocal theme is Evaluation, Evidence, and Trust in the Age of AI.

The Summer Evaluation Bootcamp (SEB) is an intensive, practice-oriented capacity development initiative aimed at strengthening evaluation knowledge, skills, and professional networks among young and emerging evaluators (YEEs). Building on the achievements and lessons learned from the first three editions of the SEB, the 4th Summer Evaluation Bootcamp responds to the growing demand for high-quality, context-sensitive, and future-oriented evaluation capacity.

The African Development Bank Group’s Development Evaluation Week 2026  (EvalWeek 2026)  will be held from June 15 to 17, under the theme “Catalyzing Impact Across Africa’s Borders.”  The conference will take place in Abidjan and online.

EvalWeek 2026 will bring together policymakers, development practitioners, evaluators, researchers, and development partners to reflect on lessons from evaluations and explore how evidence can better inform regional integration strategies, cross-border initiatives, and Africa’s development agenda.

The IPDET On-Site Program is a globally recognised training programme in monitoring and evaluation (M&E), implemented by the University of Bern in Switzerland, in partnership with the Global Evaluation Initiative. 

The two-week program will take place from July 6 to July 17. Core courses will be offered on the first week, followed by advanced workshops on the second week.

Over the years, the Outcome Harvesting community has grown into a vibrant global network of practitioners. Members have connected regularly through webinars, online discussions, and collaborative work—and many have met each other in various settings and roles. To spread this capacity and build the ability to learn, we are now organising the first face-to-face gathering of the Outcome Harvesting community.

From 1-3 September 2026, the Caribbean Development Bank's Office of Independent Evaluation will host the inaugural Caribbean Evaluation Space (CEvalSpace) 2026, a premier platform for meaningful dialogue, sharing best practices, and strengthening evaluation capacity throughout the Caribbean. 

The European Evaluation Biennial Conference is the flagship event of the European Evaluation Society (EES). The conference brings together up to 1000 delegates from Europe and globally to discuss, share learnings and engage with state-of-the-art developments in evaluation theory, practice and methodology. This year, the EES conference takes place under the theme Evaluation for Vibrant Democracies.
