Most Significant Change (MSC) used for NGO self-evaluation process

This overview from Capacity.org outlines the process and findings of an NGO self-evaluation process which used Most Significant Change to evaluate the organisational development services offered by the group.

"CABUNGO, a Malawian NGO providing organisational development services to local Non-Government Organisations (NGOs), evaluated its own performance using the Most Significant Change approach.

The self-evaluation process was designed with the explicit purpose of ’enhancing CABUNGO’s learning in order to improve performance’. The evaluation team decided to use this opportunity to trial the use of the story-based Most Significant Change (MSC) methodology to evaluate the organisational development services provided by CABUNGO." (Wrigley 2010)
