  • Image colour picker: User can upload an image and the image colour picker will generate a colour palette matching that image.
  • Gradient generator: Similar to the palette generator but for gradient.
  • Colour range maker: User can create a range of colour, with different tints & shade of a colour.
  • Contrast checker: User can check the contrast of their foreground and background colours, making sure the contrast level follows the WCAG standards for readability and accessibility.
  • Color analysis: User can enter any colour code they want to access multitude of information about that specific colour (variant, matching colours, tints & shade, namings, etc).

What is particularly helpful about the resources?

Colorlab is free and groups many useful features together to work with colours, making it easier for users to achieve their goals rapidly rather than having to navigate across multiple websites and tabs.

Why would you recommend it to other people?

While the website is targeting mainly web designers and developers, it can also be used by anyone for reports, powerpoint presentations, and communication visuals, to name a few. People can make sure their colours match well together or that their documents are readable for anyone using the contrast checker.
