This literature review from the DECI project provides an overview of the literature available in the area of developing evaluation capacity in ICTD with the express purpose of providing a foundation for the design of the project.
Contents
- Part One of the review focuses on the use of ICT for development including the evolving trends in research, project design and impact assessment.
- Part Two provides and overview of development with a particular emphasis on the approaches that may be relevant to ICT.
- Part Three introduces Utilization Focused Evaluation (UFE), an approach that will guide the DECI project.
