In this gLOCAL 2024 event, GEI explores what communication strategies work best to make evaluation more engaging and more inclusive for various audiences in different regions of the world.
How do you promote something complex and technical like evaluation?
Evaluation is essential to decision-making because it provides the evidence we need to make better policies and programs. And yet, it’s not something easy to sell to our target audiences. Most of the time, it’s because of all the mystery and the jargon surrounding it.
How can we communicate better to bring out the value and essence of evaluation?
The panel is composed of communications experts working in the Centers for Learning on Evaluation and Results (CLEAR). The CLEAR Centers are GEI's implementing partners in helping countries strengthen their monitoring and evaluation (M&E) systems. They are present and active in six regions: Anglophone Africa, Francophone Africa, Lusophone Africa and Brazil, Latin America and the Caribbean, Pakistan and Central Asia, and South Asia.
