Evaluation design checklist

Resource link

The checklist provides a set of issues one needs to consider while planning, undertaking and reporting an evaluation and covers the requirements seen in typical requests for evaluation proposals.

Divided into the following six subsections, the checklist can assist in responding to a request for a complex evaluation or it can function as a reminder about a broad range of decisions one needs to make about every evaluation assignment.

  • Focusing the Evaluation
  • Collecting Information
  • Organizing Information
  • Analysing Information
  • Reporting Information
  • Administering the Evaluation
