Everyday evaluation

This chapter from A Toolkit for Effective Everyday Activism, by Alison Rogers and Leanne Kelly, provides practical strategies for evaluating activism based on informal everyday evaluation.

"Drawing insights from interviewees, the chapter discusses the elements of reflection, tracking, and sharing. It provides practical guidance for identifying strengths and weaknesses; considering the worth, merit, and significance of activist efforts; and determining their effectiveness. Evidence can be used to improve activist efforts, learn, motivate, influence, advocate, recruit followers, and engage donors. This chapter shares a roadmap for collecting relevant data, evaluating usefulness, transforming information into compelling and concise formats, enhancing the reach of evidence through strategic sharing, and elevating impact by incorporating insights into future actions."
