Learn evaluation

The Learn Evaluation Assessment Portal (LEAP) is a self-assessment tool that uses evaluator competency lists to help identify evaluation learning needs.

Once you complete the assessment (a 20-25 minute survey), you will receive a free report that outlines your strengths, limitations, and learning needs as an evaluator.

Currently, the tool uses the Australian Evaluation Society competency list, but in the future, you’ll be able to choose from multiple competency lists from around the world.
