This resource provides a report on the progress of South Africa's National Evaluation System (NES), incorporating details regarding the National Evaluation plan and provincial and local government plans.
Additionally, the document reports on efforts to strengthen the NES. The NES has been in development since 2011, with the first National Evaluation Policy Framework being approved in November 2011 and the latest National Evaluation Plan running from 2020 to 2025.
