Objective(s): bring evaluators, researchers, policymakers and programme managers together to explore the challenges and opportunities in using high-quality evidence to inform decision-making.

Scope: a range of topics related to challenges and opportunities in using high-quality evidence to inform decision-making.

Objective(s): give interested parties the opportunity to acquire additional qualifications for scientific or professional work in this research and professional field as part of a master's degree, which offers very good professional development opportunities; prepares interested parties for the scientific processing of evaluation questions as well as for expert and advisory activities in the field of evaluation; teach core competencies needed for tasks related to quality management and organizational development.

Objective(s): teach students the knowledge and skills needed to undertake professional evaluation work as expert consultants in the in the fields of policy-making, administration and social services;
how to design and implement evaluations in an international context; the academic methodologies required to address questions and problems relating to evaluation; how to understand contract award and procurement processes and to manage evaluation projects.

Objective(s): train participants on how to use the concepts and methods of Evaluation of projects in the field of development cooperation (DC) and humanitarian aid (HA). More specifically, participants will learn how to write and operationalize Terms of References, conduct Evaluations, and submit reports.

Objective(s): improve participants' understanding of key evaluation approaches and current and emerging thinking in evaluation, enabling them to reflect on how topical issues such as transformation and

Objective(s): explore transformation in Evaluation from its historical context in relation to the Global South and how it may relate to equity and social justice, gather local and international speakers in making a contribution to the transformation discourse form a Global South perspective.

Objective(s): provide participants with a space where they can present and coordinate efforts around the main initiatives for the development of evaluation in Latin America and the Caribbean.

Objective(s): train evaluation managers in Latin America and enable them to visualize alternative formats for managing and carrying out quality evaluations.

Objective(s): provide a safe space for participants to freely exchange experiences, lessons, and ideas on the individual topics

Objective(s): provide mentees with an opportunity to acquire knowledge, skills, and capacity for a successful evaluation career; formulate an actionable professional development plan with clear steps towards developing those skills; identify and overcome challenges, barriers, fears of developing a career in evaluation; build stronger professional networks towards the advancement of the profession; build linkages with internships and job opportunities in the field; and increase the commitment of evaluation experts who contribute to the evaluation capacity development of YEE.
