The purpose of this three-module diploma is to equip learners with the critical knowledge and skillset needed to design and implement (M&E) systems. The diploma is designed in alignment with international standards for (M&E), namely, the American Evaluation Association (AEA) guiding principles for evaluators and the United Nations Evaluation Group (UNEG) core competencies for evaluators of the UN System. The program will blend planning and project management principles with skill development concerning evaluation study design, developing (M&E) frameworks, data collection and analysis, and IT's changing role. Special focus will be given to professional practice and to balancing the ethical aspects of an evaluation.
