Week 40: Visionary Evaluation AEA 2014 song
To celebrate the start of the 2014 conference of the American Evaluation Association, we're delighted to be able to share the lyrics and music of the Visionary Evaluation AEA 2014 song to make it easier to sing along during and after the conference.
The song will be performed at the first plenary (archived link) of the 2014 American Evaluation Association which begins 9.45am Thursday 16 October. The song draws on material from the AEA 6 word story initiative (archived link) and the theme of this year's conference - 'visionary evaluation for a sustainable, equitable future (archived link)'.
Lyrics: AEA 6 word story contributors and Kataraina Pipi

Here we are in Denver
Another year has gone by
We come together to learn and share
Our thinking and know how
A myriad of Evaluators

Rocky Mountain High, Colorado
We're all in this together
Recount how we share our world
Don't be afraid to ask questions
Find the patterns and the views
Boundaries and relationships
For an aspirational world
Visionary Evaluation
a Sustainable, Equitable Future
Reflection and inquiry
Appreciating all voices
Highlights merit, worth and significance
We have Real and Genuine
Empowerment and Systems
Culturally Responsive and
Participatory
Let it be Developmental, Transformative
Visionary Evaluation
