Implementing evidence for real-world impact: How far have we come and where are we going?
The Evidence and Implementation Summit is one of the world's leading conferences focused on intersections between research, policy and practice – with the goal of improving lives globally.
Hosted by CEI, Monash University, and BISI, the Summit will share the latest advances, case-studies and results across the full spectrum of evidence synthesis and translation, evaluation and implementation science.
EIS 2023 brings together policymakers, researchers, implementation scientists, program evaluators, practitioners, academics and organisation leaders to share advances and debate how high-quality evidence, well implemented, can change lives for the better.
Summit areas of interest:
Child and Social Welfare | Education | Mental Health | Health and Human Services | Public Health | Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Perspectives | Crime and Justice | Disability Services | Early Childhood Development and Services | International Development | Humanitarian Aid | Environment and Climate Change
This event is an evolution of the Australian Implementation Conference and the Global Evidence and Implementation Summit, held in 2018.
EIS 2021 was co-hosted by CEI and Monash University. This virtual event was attended by 750 delegates from 30 different countries, offered 21 hours of live presentations and discussion events, supported by 10 global partners. Pre-Summit, we ran a webinar series, shared 40 hours of pre-recorded content, and offered two workshops and a design 'hackathon' for early career researchers. The Summit provided endless opportunity for attendees to engage with cutting-edge ideas, learn from experts in the field and interact with peers.
