The mission of this initiative is to: “build a sustainable field of leaders who are reimagining the purpose and practice of evaluation to advance equity and expand notions of validity, rigour and complexity.”

The Equitable Evaluation Initiative has developed a Theory of Change and an Equitable Evaluation Framework, it aims to expand evaluation practice by embracing new pathways for and concepts of validity, rigour, and complexity and to create a sustainable field of Equitable Evaluation Framework practitioners.

The initiative shares emerging learning, organises events to share ideas and experiences and has real-world examples of the tensions involved in applying the Equitable Evaluation Framework.

The initiative challenges and supports evaluators to plan and implement evaluations that contribute to a more equitable world.
