The Australian Data Archive provides facilities for collecting and archiving digital research data, which are then made available to secondary users and researchers.
It is a national service managed by the Australian National University and provided by various universities around Australia, including the University of Melbourne, the University of Queensland, the University of Western Australia and the University of Technology Sydney.
The Australian Data Archive contains data sets divided into the following subject areas:
- Social Science
- Medicine, health and life sciences
- Law
- Arts and humanities
- Earth and environmental sciences
- Computer and information sciences
