Key features

This resource outlines a few of GDPR-related concepts and tenets that organisations should be aware of: consent, better data protection, and better data management. It offers advice and tools that organisations can use when preparing for the GDPR.

Please note: DevResults offers this information as a resource, but none of this should be read as legal advice. DevResults recommends organisations contact their lawyers to find out how the GDPR will affect them.

How have you used or intend on using this resource?

This resource is for global development organisations still figuring out the way towards GDPR compliance. It's particularly useful for those doing monitoring and evaluation (M&E) work within their organisations.

Why would you recommend it to other people?

I would recommend organisations take a look at this toolkit and take it seriously because data protection should be a priority for all organisations. I'd also recommend having a look at this article and video of a panel discussion outlining why this toolkit and data protection are important.
