OXFAM policy on program evaluation

This policy from 2010 outlines the procedures and processes for conducting evaluations of Oxfam programs.

Excerpt

"For Oxfam, evaluation is the process of rigorously assessing the design, implementation and results of development and humanitarian interventions (projects, programs, advocacy initiatives and campaigns) considering their impact, effectiveness, efficiency, sustainability and relevance Evaluation is an integral component of the planning, monitoring, evaluation and learning cycle which is essential for maximizing Oxfam’s effectiveness in achieving its mission, but warrants particular attention as Oxfam seeks to match its strong planning disciplines with equally strong and strategic evaluation practice."
