Key features

It provides structured guidance on stakeholder engagement, including 7 steps to successful stakeholder engagement, templates for each of the steps and advice on overcoming 7 barriers to effective stakeholder engagement

How have you used or intend on using this resource?

I intend to use this when planning my next evaluation project, to take a more systematic approach to identifying and engaging stakeholders.

Why would you recommend it to other people?

It is very clear and practical, with templates and accessible material, but also based on previous experience and research into stakeholder engagement.  It could be used to plan stakeholder engagement as part of an evaluation, or as a framework for evaluating the stakeholder engagement aspects of a program or project – this is often a vital part of achieving the intended impacts but is often skipped over in logic models and evaluation plans.
